... but if you buy a sandwich before you leave the bar and feed it to the dog, he'll be so happy he won't notice your small fleet passing by. smiley - devil

Oh.. I've been away a while.. Does the image on your page reside in the beeb stores or has there been a change to allow off-site images (which I highly doubt). Though I could have checked that before switching views.. smiley - erm

Thank you, but it isn't really all that cute when you consider what it means. I mean, being eaten by a very awe-inspiringly big dog, or another big big big creature is a site for sore eyes, but at least it's all over in one gulp. *squints eyes, draws closer* Imagine what it must be like though, to be eaten by a SMALL dog? The horror! The enduring paiain! smiley - winkeye

But I didn't realise that myself when I chose the nick, mind you. First it was 'might be going to japan this fall', but I changed that into small dog for no reason.

The picture is a fiendishly clever way around the Beeb restrictions, in that it's not really a picture but a HTML table with colour attributes assigned to the cells. Done by JAVAM, as it says smiley - smiley

I would probably f ind it rather difficult to display my little flying dragon, or my Carlton bottle.. or even my own mug that way. smiley - erm

As to the add-on... Well.. You've changed it so I guess it's a moot point now. :smiley - biggrin

True... I'm many miles away from it all in Amsterdam, but it feels like it's really 'us' that's been attacked instead of the US. Tomorrow we're having three minutes silence at uni in honour, the whole thing is really too big to get right now. I... don't really remember correctly, but I seem to think you live in the US? Yes? No? Are you personally hit by this?

Or are you referring to something different happened altogether?

No.. you hit spot on the what.. and yes, I live in the US... but as far as I know I don't know anyone personally who was involved. Although it could easily be that I just haven't heard... after all, they say 'round here that "If you can make it in New York, you can make it anywhere," so I could have went to school with someone there. I It's just come out that one local woman is on the missing list from the Pentagon (her office was three windows down from the crash site, and as you probably know they're not holding out much hope of there being any live survivors there), but I didn't know her or her family afaik.

Well then your social circles seem to have made it so far. What's the effect on your life in general, if I might ask? Scared to fly these days? I'll believe that. Everybody on their toes? Do you have muslim friends? My sister's boyfriend is a muslim (not a real believer or something, just by birth) and we poked some fun with him last night. nothing serious mind you.

I haven't flown since I was four years old, so I haven't really felt an effect there.

My "RL" social circles are quite small, but I have thought of someone who lived in the general area.. I just haven't been able to find his phone number. An old friend I haven't spoken to in a long while.. Not from any adversity, but simply because he moved out of the area and we lost touch. I doubt he 's affected.. Last I heard he lived in Vermont (I think, or Connecticutt), and I don't think he was planning on moving again soon.

My online circles, however, are an entirely other story, so I might well know some muslims.. though I might not know since I rarely discuss religion (barring along the FFFF lines. smiley - winkeye)

How about you?
