h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi, just got around to checking the entry, 2 small initial points,"BBC channel 2" should be changed to "BBC2" as this is a British series so I feel UK conventions should apply (practically no tv stations bar 2 use the word "channel") also 6 parts is a standard UK series length, so "mini-series" should be changed to "series". If you are worried about international readers mention explainations in footnotes.
I feel strongly these changes should be made, sorry. if I come up with anything else I'll let you know, but I'm up to my eyes in pre-christmas assignments. Hope to hear back positively.

Researcher 110126, how lovely to finally hear from you. Alas, I have sent your excellent article back to h2g2 and therefore no longer have access to it.

I will post your comments about errors in the yarn's forum where they will be read by h2g2's paid editorial staff when they do their final check before posting the yarn on the front page. Hopefully, at this stage your suggested alterations will be acted upon.

Ashley, one of the paid editors at h2g2, checks the forums of Edited Guide yarns - the morning after they appear on the front page - for comments about factual errors. He then fixes them.

I note Jim Lynne (h2g2 tech guy) has mentioned that Humphreys was the director so, hopefully, the yarn will be corrected tomorrow morning (Pom time).
