HURRAH!!!

I hardly ever meet anyone who knows about those books!!

Fattypuffs and Thinifers is my favourite (all right, it's too hard to decide on favourites, but...) children's book!

Do you realise that you just made me day?!

Your most welcome.
I find the books I read when I was 9 have just improved as an adult.
The jokes are funnier too, and I understand them smiley - winkeye

That depends which books one re-reads as an adult. The really good ones (Hurrah for Phantom Tollbooth!!!!) just get better the more one reads them, but some of the books I read when I was little are just plain awful. Like "The Castle in the Attic", for example. I loved that book when I was small. I re-read it a few years ago -- I was shocked at how terrible it was! It's a bit like how one likes artificial disgustingly sweet candy when one is small, and then realises how tasteless it is when on grows up...

But now I'm starting to sound like a trombone solo (reference Thurber -- anyone read his essays on grammar?).

The Phantom Tollbooth, however, will ALWAYS be a STUPENDOUS book!!!!!smiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrin

Am I the only one that thinks Pixar should totally make this into a killer kick-ass movie?

It's educational, entertaining and a darn good story.

Please Pixar?
