There's a discussion going on at the Nordic Researchers' Club about having a 'Nordic' meet-up during Easter next year - and after some discussion it seems Stockholm seems to be OK to most of the people involved in the conversation...

...and then the question of accommodation came up - I've suggested the Zinkensdamm youth hostel - would you happen to have any suggestions?

That would be because sometimes when I appear to be here, I'm really not.
And also I've been having that not-quite-myself feeling since a while back.

Feeling not-quite-yourself probably means you're stepping into another phase of life, or something - any big changes lately?

My apparent lurking is mostly due to Opera's web panels, actually. They make me appear online whenever Opera is running. And, of course, as soon as I try to actually get around to posting, some w**k pops up demanding my attention

No big changes just yet, though. Only a multitude of weird dreams. I've remembered more dreams in the last month than I have for the last ten years, I think.

I think Hatfinat and Filifjonka are coming too.

I was just reminded that I won't be in town during Saturday - it's the name-giving ceremony of my niece, which I had almost forgotten about (thanks Mum).

There will be a Danish street circus performing in Björns Trädgård at 6 pm on Friday - maybe a good place to start the meetup? No entrance fee
