A sub-subs submission

Post 1

Lonnytunes - Winter Is Here

To save any chance of starting a Flame War, I thought I would post this here instead of to the sub ecircle.

Torgen wrote - when a sub-sub does something 'final' to an entry, their over-sub gets a copy to confirm or deny their decision with, as well as check for errors. If none are found, the entry can pass on. If not, the over-sub can tell the sub-sub what changes were necessary. Once the sub-sub has demonstrated competence, their over-sub can promote them.

Loony says, I would like to gently point out that some of the "new" subs only became involved because of the hash that some of the so-called "experienced" subs were making of submitted articles.

Some of the "new" subs even work (or have worked) as sub editors for publications printed on newsprint.... this includes me. (20 years)

It is always unwise to generalise.

PS: Torgan, I hope you like my work on the two yarns of yours that I recently subbed. smiley - bigeyes
