Dear Benjamin P,

I've read your smiley - thepost entries for 'I couldn't care less' and really appreciate them
( I try to leave a message or two each week but it doesn't always happen [ or else it's not your turn yet! ] )

Anyway I've read them and, in lieu of a direct comment I offer this:

Ach, that's Brunel. For Pliny try this (why's it so awkward? Ah never mind, Crew Pastey will catch up without being pushed about):

Ach. Ach. Just click on posted by... & scroll down to MY JOURNAL for 2012 Oct 11

By the time you get this, there may be a later addition...

Rod (in appreciation)

Hi Rod, thanks for dropping by, it's nice to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear about the accident, being plunged into something so dramatic must be very stressful for you both. The truth, in my experience, is that you never have the slightest idea what you are capable of in some respects until you are forced to find out. I hope Ms Stress will recover, both physically and mentally, as soon as possible and that, in the mean time, you are able to find time and space for yourself while you support her.

Oh, Ms Stress is improving, week by week - good days, bad days...
Time for myself? It's been in short supply but getting better.

But it's not her that's the focus, is it? Not really.
My heart goes out to people like yourself who can see no bright future but who keep on keeping on nevertheless.

My best wishes

Rod

I think one of the most important lessons you can learn is that everyone matters. Also, I can always see a bright future. It doesn't always happen, but I can always see it, thanks Rod. smiley - ok

Last night I saw a documentary featuring a woman who flew spitfires from factories to air fields in ww2. She sais 'I am not special, I'm just a normal person who was put in a situation where I did what I had to do. Any of you would do the same'.

She flew SPITFIRES!
