Travellers
This is a world wide organisation whose members, armed with towel, (and their parents’ plastic cards) set off from all parts of the globe to travel to all other parts of the globe in search of environmental nirvana. a place which “Progress” hasn’t touched. Having found it they post notices on bulletin boards so that all the other travellers can find it too! Within minutes of discovery the Coke logo, blue plastic bags and digital watches are proliferating faster than you can say ‘Tourism’. The locals jump on the economic band wagon so that they, too, can go travelling to find an environmentally sound habitat that theirs once was! This produces more bus routes, highways, and more pollution; more Hilton hotels and MacDonald (using imported traditional materials, of course), and ever help to the ultimate goal of “Progress”, to destroy all such known habitats. It’s pretty damn clever - did Marvin have a hand in it?Conversations
