yeah - that'd be cool. It'd be nice to get the cricket ground up and running properly - it never really lifted off.
All the pages are in my guide entries list - there's a pitch/clubhouse/nets etc... and a list of the "team" who were all interested at the start. A fair few are still around I'm pretty sure.
If you've got ideas to kick start it that'd be great - I'm quite happy to tweak the GuideML to suit your purposes if you want to use those pages...

Abi is ok to help. I reckon between the three of us we can get this thing up and running. I would be able to plan a fantasy cricket league for the England v South Africa test matches. I think that would give us a flying start with new members. I would however need help with the technical stuff. Having organised a fantasy league before now I know what's involved.
Let me know what you think about the ideas.

I'm generally crappy at fantasy cricket league stuff (too much for my little brain to handle...) but I can do some techy stuff (note, *some*) - I can play with GuideML pretty well - so I could do that side of it if you want - but I'm going to be away all summer...

think you can set up joint pages that two people can edit - or we could just start a cricket club account for the fantasy league idea...
could then mebbe link to/from the old cricket club from there, and head up some conversation topics that you think would fit in various places?

That sounds great. The old site is a great start, with some freshened up links and I'll set to work on the Fantasy league stuff. I'll contact you in a couple of days when I've had more time to think.
