Hemmeness
Posted May 30, 1999
Jokes. They're weird little cryptic question/answer things which people ask each other. But you know - nobody really laughs at jokes. They groan if they like the joke. Normally, people only groan when they are NOT happy (ie, Wife: "Darling, you must remember to mop up the place where the cat weed earlier", Husband: "Groan") but with jokes, they groan with... I don't know what it's called. But I think it should have a name. From now on, the way people groan after jokes is called "Hemmeness". So you can groan with hemmeness, or you can groan hemmely. There you are - problem solved! Once again, Janie has solved a problem which nobody even knew existed until she went and made it up.

What Katy Did Last Summer

Don't you think that's a great title? I thought it up two nights ago. I think in the night a lot. I listen to Viking FM too. They play the same songs over and over again. It gets boring. Now, I need to think of a story to match my great title!

Mari's Dolmio thingy
Posted May 2, 1999
Doh! Doh! Doh! Doh! (Repeat four million-and-a-half times. By the way, half a time is like this: "D-"). Okay. There wasn't any point in doing that but who really cares anyway. I just felt like doing it. Well I'm Mari, I'm 14 years old (which you should appreciate), I have an IQ of 368 (no, not really!) and I live here in Sunny old Blighty. I have to talk about the Dolmio adverts. They tell you how to cook Italian. Like, they say "Be well prepared", showing you Italian people being not well prepared. Then they say "Give it your full attention", showing you Italian people not giving it their full attention. Then they say "Don't linger over it", showing you Italian people lingering over it. Bear in mind they have given us really crap advice so far. Then they say "Eat Dolmio". So does that REALLY mean DON'T eat Dolmio, seeing as they have done the rest of the advert in opposites?
