End British Summer Time

I am hereby announcing the founding of C.A.B.S.T. - The Campaign for the Abolition of British Summer Time.

smiley - steam I am sick and tired of spending an hour twice a year going around changing an evergrowing number of clocks forwards or backwards.

I currently have 2 wristwatches, 1 sports watch, 3 house clocks, 2 office clocks, 1 central heating controller, 1 oven, 1 microwave, 1 answering machine, 2 car clocks and 1 video camera which all need changing. And that's apart from the ones I forget about until a week later. smiley - grr

And what for? Some whinging excuses about daylight saving and school safety. We live in a 24 x 7 society - we do not save anything, we just do whatever it is an hour earlier/later then the day before! If school safety is an issue, then let the schools start an hour earlier/later instead!

Nobody seems to think about those of us who have to use 24 hr computer event logs in which we end up getting the same hour twice smiley - grrsmiley - steam

And as for this stupid idea of moving permanently by 2 hours...smiley - grrsmiley - grrsmiley - steamsmiley - steam.

Please, please leave Greenwich Mean Time alone.

Is it me?

Anyone else going? I'd like to hear your thoughts about it tomorrow.
