My email from the Eds this morning said:
Dear Galaxy Babe,
Here is your new batch of h2g2 Guide Entries for editing:
A42130199 'Man of the Dunes: Frank Patrick Herbert Jr.' by Herr 5 Gin (U3386111)
Hmmmmmmmmmmm I recognised that U-number

I really don't like:
<>
Do you mind if I rewrite that?

h5ringer Posted Oct 17, 2008
<> doesn't need the comma
btw I couldn't establish with certainty whether Theresa was Shackleford or Shackelford. The former seems more likely, but...
I think it might be best to combine the 'The Saga Continues' and the 'Frank Herbert's Legacy' paragraphs under the latter title.

Last two paras joined
Comma gone
I did search for Shackleford vs Shackelford and found her listed as donator here: http://ur.sewanee.edu/sewaneecall/opportunities one assumes her name was on the cheque and they'd get it right, but I can put back the bracket with the different spelling if you prefer

OK
Is this ready to return then?
I have Isaac Asimov as well. Shall we continue here or make another subbing thread?

The OPEC footnote has gone missing
Can we change the end of the 'Loss of Beverly' section to:
<>
Otherwise I think. We might as well carry on with Asimov here.

A41654117 there's no footnote there - what would you like me to add to the recommended version? Just the explanation of the initials?
Beverly section changed

Oops! My mistake then. Footnote: Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

Is this ready to return or are you still on a final read-through? (No hurry, ComingUp is back to "healthy" status)
I will make a start on Isaac Asimov, but I have Andrew's Work Experience at the Vets' to write up for The Post as well, and that's on a deadline.

In the last sentence of the Asimov's Robots section, the word 'positronic' should be in italics. Should 'Dr. Who' be 'Doctor Who'?
In the PR thread, 'BBC2 did a production of' wasn't liked and I'm not entirely satisfied either; however I don't like the suggestion of 'BBC2 produced' either. Any ideas?

Any ideas?: Thinking...
Can I just query: The credits to the 1994 film (I, Robot) - should be 2004, yes?
Doctor Who - yes
'positronic' should be in italicsfixed

Have a quick peek at the Entry, I uploaded an image from the BC library that I found. However, that's *not* my job, it's Editorial-sphere but I don't know if they would have found it, and it's a shame for this to hit the FP without a pic. I can return it [[[not yet!! I'm not done subbing]]] with (but the Eds may remove it). If you don't like it though, it's a gonner.
