Cowboys do seem to have a not-undeservedly dubious reputation.
There are, btw, three lies regarded as being the most often told by cowboys:
1. "I won this belt buckle"
(you would have to see a crowd of 'cowboys' all wearing pie-tin-size buckles to appreciate this one)
2. "I paid for these boots"
(chinny reckon)
3. "I was just helpin' that calf over the fence"
