I got the wrong end of the stick in that PR thread but that's no excuse for saying what I said. *I* was being personal and I shouldn't have been.
Please accept my hand of apology and it would be great if you'd give it a good, firm shake.

Not to worry - we happened to post at very nearly the same time and one would normally expect one post to logically follow another, but ours didn't, so it's easy to see how the misunderstanding happened.
