I know that there's a bloody big pond between us and although WE both speak english, there are many differences in "local vocabulary etc"

It's a bit less hot this afternoon, but it's a very short respite, I'm afraid. Our region is due for excessive heat warnings through the entire weekend. I doubt that I'll be able to broadcast as such because I need to spare my smartphone from damage. It could go kaput if I insist in using it in an environment that closely resembles a sauna.

I hope that my email reached , and that you were able to talk to her as well. I know that her spirits are lifted when she has RL contact with her friends.
I would guess it does you a lot of good as well!!

we got rain but what's new there eh!

I "saw" that in my modified weather application.
We've hot temperatures here, same thing to say.

I phoned this morning and also passed on your wishes for the dayplus you'd sent her an email.
I don't know if it's because of the coronavirus lockdown etc, but she still seems to be having problems with her laptop

So I can only say that she'll reply ASAP mate

BUT! She does thank you and sends herand wishing you well in the present climate

I just hope she's able to see messages somehow.

there are ongoing health issues with her but again, due to corona appointments are being changed all the time

The virus is playing hell with our health system over here as well.
There is a massive backlog of testing appointments here, and we're not out of the first "wave" yet.

I hope she's not going to suffer some catastrophic result

For a good few year now, since mine and hers friendship grew
I've sort of treated her as a sister and her family is MY family.
I feel more close to them, than some members of my own family that I've never really known, because "they" have never been in contact etc with my mam over the years.
You my dear friend! I also feel close to in a friendship bond.
As I say to many - I don't need money to have richesI am rich because of friends

Need riches, no.

But they could be nice for a change, I admit.

But for what I get monthly does get me out of the house.

The friends I've made here are really the closest I'm going to have.
