I am well as far as health is concerned, no allergies or colds seen or felt. I am vaccinated against Measles and Mumps, so I shouldn't be falling ill.

I see that Measles has reared it's ugly head over there recently.

some of the "old" type ones (thought to be eradicated) still make comeback attempts

worse part of "ageing" is health defences weaken.

BUT! We're survivors mate, we can take anything on and defeat it

Ah, don't forget about anti-vaxxers, those who risk getting and spreading this stuff.

That's the best bet as the source of this outbreak.

The amount of people who don't put their hand over their nose/mouth when sneezing is unbelievable don't THEY ever learn ?

The MMR jab is 97% effective lifetime for recipients. Not perfect, but better than nowt.

And that goes for Mumps as well?? That's making noise in Southern California as well. Our airport and the one in Chicago look like infection sources.

Not wanting to put you off as such, but I notice if I visit a toilet in a supermarket, how many men NEVER wash their hands after and then "they" go picking/touching products etc in the store

As per sneezing, with Measles, it is so virile and contagious, you really are a carrier and simply breathe and spread it around.

Dudes are usually bad at hand washing.

Public lavatories are not clean places anyway.

PJ once caught measles and he didn't pass to his sister and daughter once caught mumps and didn't pass them on to PJ

I do make many more brain pharts these days, forgetting many things.
All is much the same here. The only thing happening is a recurring problem with one of our neighbor's pack of dogs constantly escaping and terrorizing folk walking about!!
