What on earth are hopi ear candles? I sincerely hope they are not candles made from ear wax!!
wishing you love and light with your healing.

These are hollow tubes consisting of a mixture of beeswax, honey and herbs. They are made and used by the Hopi Indians of Colorado, U S A. The candle is placed gently in the entrance of the outer ear canal and lit. It is about 300mm long and is allowed to burn down to a line approximately 40mm from the end when it is withdrawn and extinguished. The other ear is teated similarly. It is a very relaxing treatment and the very slight warmth and vacuum created have been found to be very good for relieving problems of the ear (balance, tinnitus, wax, etc) as well as those of headaches and sinuses. If you can find a practitioner I really can recommend them.
