Hi Lady P.

Just in case you didn't see my earlier posting, I am free most of this week, except late Wednesday evening.
I'm happy to be a London guide if you wish.

Is there anything you'd like to do? I have free access to the RA and both Tates, also Kew, (where I'll be tomorrow if you are free, and can arrange another date but need to know in advance so I can book an electric scooter), London Wetland Centre and Natural History Museum. Some others I can get in free or half-price with my Art Pass.

Southbank is looking interesting at present, with the Festival of Neighbourhood on.

Hi MMF, sorry for not getting to you earlier! It's such a hectic time, walking around all day, and by the time I get back to the apartment where I'm staying, I'm so tired I can't really do anything...

Anyway, how about Thursday? I'm going to the British Museum (have a ticket to the Pompei exhibition - which should be excellent, from what I hear - for 11:10), and not exactly sure what else, perhaps I'll just mosey around the many bookshops in the area, or go to check out Temple Church, or something. If you would like to join me for the museum and/or other stuff, or if you have other ideas of what I should do, let me know.

British Museum sounds good to me, and can decide on other stuff at the time, as don't know how long you are here. Feel free to send me a text.

Shame you already have a ticket as, being registered disabled, I can get a Carer in for free, which means you wouldn't have to pay or could make a donation to the ticket price.

Anyway done now. Can discuss other options then.

To make life easy, I'll wear a blue h2g2 t-shirt, and have a stick.

Yes, I should have thought about that... but I wasn't sure when and where, I'll meet you, and wanted to make sure I had a ticket (there weren't many slots open).
See you tomorrow, anyway!

Pleased you enjoyed our short visit at the British Museum. Traffic slowed me down, so I couldn't have got you to the National in time.

Hope we see each other in the not too distant future. And stay in touch.

Usually use FB for regular catch-ups. Go to Neal Rollason if you wish.

I'm kinda weird about FB - especially about keeping FB and h2g2 as separate 'spheres'. Can't really explain why, it just doesn't feel right to mix them (same way as I don't have my parents, for example, as FB friends, it's a different sphere). Not sure if it makes sense... smiley - sorry, anyway.

But I do hope to get back to London in the near future (and hopefully, with Dan, too), so yes, we will be in touch. smiley - biggrin
