Hi heathen sceptic. Just out of intrest what made you turn away from the church. I am not saying this wasa bad or a good thing I'm just interested.

Long and complicated story involving 12 years of unanswered prayer, a divorce and an inability to reconcile the doctrine of an omnipotent god with an all-loving god with one who expected certain rules to be kept. After all, if I was a faithful Christian and I'd prayed so hard for so long to do something He wanted, and it still hadn't happened, what had gone wrong? Did He not listen, or not care, or not have the power?
Obviously, it no longer fusses me.
