Two people have already posted their stories - both for the same title, so if we choose just one it would probably have to be the one they've already done.

Karjon: I said some time, not this time . This one is underway so no point in restarting, but it'd be a good one for the future methinks. Maybe the next challenge?

I'd love to see what everyone would come up with for the same title.
On The 60 Word group that's what happens - there are two titles and everyone (or almost everyone) does both stories. It really is amazing how differently we see things.

I like your idea for next time maybe. But it would be hard to find a new angle for some titles if you were one of the last to post. Perhaps we could have a simultaneous posting time - like 10pm to 12pm on the 1st Dec - so we had to stick with our first ideas - and didn't have to change them if someone else approached it in the same way first. Would 10pm English time correspond to a good Antipodean time?

Hiya. Sorry if I have been conspicuous by my abscence for the last day or two. Not doing Annie now. Have had a black dog time this week and pulled out of theatre stuff. Hoorah you say, we have got her to ourselves again!!
The voting for one title idea is fine. Would be good if we could all try to post fairly close together though, on one given day as FG said.
We can try it with the next one.
Maybe now I have cut down on my social activities I will be able to write a story. I'tll probably be dark as a deep dark place which is very very dark though.

Good to have you back Spidey. Goodness knows what we'd be up to if you were away for longer. Looking forward to a spellbindingly dark read. Hope it's cathartic!

Fifteen entrants and only six stories so far. Am I right or are there some more hiding somewhere else?

My scriptwriters have given me a break this weekend Enig. My son is visiting, always a pleasure as he is a singer songwriter and I love to sit and listen to him playing me his new material and some of my old favourites. I miss my middle daughter(his twin sis) the pair of them live in York and I can't afford to go and visit her at the moment.
The daughter/grandson /social services thing is an ongoing tussle but things are progressing in the right direction.
I've had another bad bout of depression but seem to be on the up side at the moment.
Didn't go and do the stage management thing, couldn't face a two week run of Annie!!!!
Looking forward to the GW party next week. Really need to go and let my hair down and be the old me for a while.
Writing has been sporadic, not done my 60 worder yet. Got family to cook for tomorow so looking forward to a quiet monday when I hope to get down and inspirationalised!!!
Thank you for concern.
How about you, done your story yet?

Nope, not yet. I imagine I'll do it mid-week or something. I've been working on a couple of short stories and poems of late. Some I've posted on my pf, others I'm keeping to myself for various reasons Sorry to hear about your depression. I know how that goes, it's not to be taken lightly. Hope you feel on the up in time for xmas

This is the chat link, if it helps. Party by coveted invite only and scheduled for this Tues night. Pity, as not accessible to all of us who live across the water... Ah well, wouldn't want to blow my cover, eh?!
