I wasn't suggesting you do it spidey, I think you deserve to put your feet up on 8 little cushions.
I only ask, because there are a few people (myself included) who are a little unsure of correct grammar use. I think that is evident in some of the scoring. If I get the time later I don't mind doing it.
Just checked the scores again, Sorry Lynda, we aren't in last place,we're second from last.

All busy!!!!!
Fatgardener One hundred points to you. When you are ready would you like to post two titles ready for the next challenge.
Think just two will suffice. Still choose just one title.
Post in PF's as before, up to you all if you want to put in review forum.
Back to one score out of ten and you can talk about theme and grammar in the crits.
List still limited to twenty people.
Havago...darlin........love you.........will you be the adder upper for this one.
Thanks to all who entered into the spirit of this experimental way of doing things.
Well done everyone.

congrats to Fats, that story was my favourite along with Enigs and both got my top marks
My grammar and punctuation let me down and I did it using spell check too
Kate, I know you are a proof reader, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you show were I went wrong, please

I hope this has been a useful exercise in helping people to think more about checking their work for spelling and grammar errors and made everyone think about critting skills.
The more you crit constructively, the more you learn about your own strengths and weaknesses.
Some people on this site have pooh poohed this challenge as inconsequential and frivolous.
They should come on over and see just how seriously we take it and how constructive it has been for us.

Erm...
As Weaver only gave half the scores he should've, I doubled his score and added the difference to everyone's scores. The results (with my dodgy maths) are:
1) 0 - 190.5
2) 6 - 164
3) 6 - 175.5
4) 6.5 - 179
5) 7.5 - 200
6) 8 - 198.5
7) 7.5 - 181
8) 6.5 - 179
9) 8 - 181.5
10) 7.5 - 191
11) 7.5 - 194
12) 8.5 - 195.5
13) 7.5 - 185
So the new winners are:
1) Fats
2) Loo
3) PJ
4) Enigmatic1

Well done FG!!
The one's I guessed correctly were, Niggly's and Haveago's. Also had an inkling about Weaver's
Apart from those - I had no idea!
Well done all

Just seen all the scores. It took ages to sort through all those words and numbers. Spidey you deserve a very long rest.
I also loved the Fats story best - well done everyone, but especially Fats
I think we're well rid of the grammar scores in future. We all had very different ideas of what constituted good grammar and punctuation.
Lynda, I feel so mean about the low score for you. I thought I would take a mark off for each mistake in each story and carried on regardless. I'll post your piece as I think it should look in your pf. (I'm not a professional proofreader, but I do some freelancing when I'm in Poland as there's so much that's produced in dodgy English. In our office I'm the one who checks through everything before it's printed.)

It's interesting to see the crits, as they are all written blind, no sneaking a peak at what others have said, or scoring friends higher. It's good to see that most of them are consistent. It means that we are all pretty good judges. I often wonder if crits done on here are sometimes just a bit 'yeah, what he/she said' when that's not what the reader thinks at all.

My favourite story is Five, well done Fats, a well deserved win!
And my second favourite is One. That Weaver's? I really thought a woman had written it. Should have known with that sense of humour eh? I read them all a few days ago and they were all fab. I'm looking forward to joining in again.

Dear Writers,
Many thanks for your congratulations. I was really surprised to win!! Have just eaten half a toffee cake and shall go on a celebratory cycle!
I think there were some excellent entries. I really admired Weaver's, Lyndabk's, Looby's, PenJen's and Serin's.
But I was cr*p at guessing authors - did think Weaver's was by Looby, Kate's was by Enig, Roy's was by Serin, PenJen's was by Roy...But then remembering the nailed down Bingo Wings No 1 had to be by Weaver (he has such a flair for the vernacular), and PenJen's poetry comes out in No12.
Well done everybody...and a well earned rest for Spiderbaby.
I shall give the 2 new titles some thought and try to post them tonight.
for everyone.
