I've just seen your post on Interminable Ramble, and sniffed hard. My grandson - the first grandchild, child of my lovely son and his lovely wife - lives 14,000 miles away. I was over there when he was born, in March, so I've held him and talked to him. Now I see his pictures, often, and have a little video-clip of him laughing. But - but - but - when I next see him, he won't know who I am.

Hub would love to move away to York but apart from my daughter being happy at her grammar school I could not bear to go too far from Stan.
