h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

A web of intigue that is!

Spynxxx here, miner for The UnderGuide and most frequently found drifting and sifting through the AWW. But that's not why I'm here today, rather I come as Deputy Campaign Director for the Ozark Party and the Hypatia for President Campaign.

As the officially endorsed party of The UnderGuide, our candiates have nothing but the best interests of creative writers at heart. Hypatia herself is a most talented writer and poet with multiple entries in the UnderGuide archives, and Jodan who is running as her second is none other than Cheif Editer of The UnderGuide itself.

That explains the who but not the why. A visit to our Ozark Campaign Headquarters at A1341109 will quickly show the depth of our commitment to not just writers but to each and every researcher and the site itself. It is through the contributions of this diverse group that h2g2 is the place of magic that it is, a unique and special realm unlike any other.

We hope to use the office to strengthen our home away from home for the betterment of all, and to do so we need the support of people such as yourself, people with the talent and vision to see the bigger picture. As a community brought together under one banner and speaking with one voice we have the power to shape this site for the better, to take charge of our own destiny.

By visiting the Hypatia for President campaign headquarters at A5645531 you can declare your support and add your voice to the ever growing throng. As a supporter of creative writing I was saddened by the loss suffered by those like you when GW went down. Though we are in no such danger at hootoo, it behoves us all to have a strong and vocal structure in place to stand up for our rights, a voice of reason that speaks for us all.

As someone respected by the former GW'ers as well as the present h2g2 researchers, adding your support sends a clear messege to all. It says that those of good conscience are taking a stand for what is right and good here and are willing to see it grow into what it was meant to be. We're counting on you.

Hi spiderbaby, glad to see you could make the show.

The links in my initial post will give you the pertinant details as to why Hypatia is the best candidate for the position, and voting has already begun and will continue till October 8th.

A5889261 will take you directly to the voting info which will be done by casting a ballot via email. It's a rather strange instant runoff system but the simple way out is to just vote for Hypatia in the #1 slot and call it done.

I am so glad you did return as I had and continue to have high hopes for you. I had read much of your work while GW was still viable and was looking forward to having you as a contributer to the AWW. As your success in achieving UnderGuide status has proved these were well warranted hopes indeed.

I also welcome your intrest in getting more involved here on hootoo and will gladly offer any assistance and answer any questions you may have. There are many roles on site for one of your talent and I look forward to chatting about the possibilities soon.
