SAying he hasn't broken any house rules in his current incarnation, but on the "what's going on?" thread didn't he post 5 times in a row? Doesn't this count as flooding? Did he get yikes'd for it?

The Groob Posted Feb 1, 2004
I said somewhere else that he fits the transactional analysis game-playing model. He started as a rescuer (with his help groups) then he switched to victim ('pity me' I'm sorry) and has now switched to persecution ('what is going on').
I've also said if he was someone I knew in real life I would put my arm on their shoulder and suggest they see someone to talk about their behaviour.
Frightening thought: this person has to interact with people in real life.

Just woke up and found the latest apology, though I haven't caught up on the backlog yet.
I yikesed a post to my user space last night, indicating that I told him to stay out of my space and he returned anyway, which I considered harrassment. I indicated the various threads which showed him to actually be Liam, and asked The Powers That Be to sort it all out, and ban him if it was indeed our troublemaker.
This has gotten very troublesome. Whether he's just an attention getter, actually malicious, or in serious need of mental health, he's been a real problem to a lot of people.
For the record, Liam (WHATEVER your current ID is), if you're lurking around this thread, LEAVE ME ALONE. If you come back in my space, I'll report you again.

I'm seriously worried for this guy's mental state. Claiming that hthat his mother is disabled but she comes on here n gives alot of info about horses n dogs. Telling lies about yourself is one thing but trying to get sympathy by telling lies about your own mother is frankly sickening. I don't want this sounding as a joke as i'm deadly serious but if i knew him in RL i would inquire about a psychiatrist to see him. He is in a real state n i hope n pray he gets the help he desperately needs n craves for.
I don't think there is anymore i can say on this matter that hasn't already being said.
It takes me alot longer than my most to reach my limit but the line has been crossed where this guy is concerned. I want nothing further to do with him or his his blatant lies

The 'Ask' thread is still as active as it ever was.
Don't know why you are "dumb founded", it was you that created a third thread about it in "Jim'll fix it."
Jim Lynn does not get involved in moderation. Newbies are not subsribed to his account by default, the "public place."
Hiding if from Ask, why if anything it shows how robust the site can be.
That poor behaviour is unacceptable. Making any new user accused of being Lee aware of why such an accusation is being made. Re: U565055 I can assure you that user is not Lee.
The jumping to conclusions, will allso create distrust on site, so yet again Lee wins out on his disruption front.

Sorry Jab, I am still dumbfounded. You posted into F19585?thread=371013&post=4793739#p4793047 which is in 'Ask the h2g2 Community', to give it its full title. A very public place, revealing my otherwise discreet message to Jim. My posting went to Jim's PS, somewhere that you would have to seek out. Similarly this thread is a journal entry on my PS, also a not overly public place. Nowhere on here is totally private, so I was just trying a different tack to prevent an avalanche of replies.
I started a third thread? No, there were already more than that complaining, and a large number of mislead people, some very new recruits, some even ACEs. Are you up to speed on this, as there are over 500 postings about our miscreant?
Of course, I could start a totally private dialogue with the powers that be, using the e-mail links associated with yikes. But I am not being underhand about the problem, not misrepresenting myself or anyone else, and just cannot figure out where you stand.
Dumfounded was, and is, the correct word for my reaction to your input, which, of course, you are absolutely entitled to make.

I don't know if this could be possible but i think from what has happened in the last couple of weeks i think there should be a software re-write where it would be impossible to create new counts when your old ones are on pre-mod. I wouldn't have a clue where to ask this but i thought i would post here to see if others agree. Thats the only way you can stop this from happening again.

Noggin the Nog Posted Feb 1, 2004
Looks like it; for a newcomer he seems to have found his way to the help pages and the GAs page remarkably quickly while being ignorant(or feigning ignorance) about stuff like smileys and where to find his edit page button. No snazzy stuff on his user page though, and he claims to be only 15.

Thanks you for letting me know, but St john Ambulance have asked 2 of our team to come on and add a few points about First Aid.
We feel that not enough people are up to date with First Aid, as you'll already know, it has changed over the years and we have new bandages and other new supplies, so if it is ok with you, I will post a few things about First aid.
There is also another Paramedic by the name of.... MickeyMouse2.....
He is my work mate, and as I said, St John Ambulance have asked two paramedic to come on.
Well I will thank you anyway and wish you well.

Hello, I'm just trying to find my way around here, and I think that what this person is doing, is a nice thoughtful thing, but as the archangel people are telling you, learn abit first. I understand you've got problems, but so have alot of users here. You are not the youngest user as I am only 15 and joined today, a couple of hour (if that) ago and being at the stage of knowing mothing about this yet (I didnt even know where the edit oage button was) I would never even think of setting up a help group of which I know nothing about what (or who for that matter) I am trying to help. I've found that since I've joined, lots of people have helped me, I've got to know a few people now. Maybe not many be a few people helping me means others will join in the coversation anbout what ever, and just get to know eachother, even get to know me! :o) Just try to help yourself by listening to the people trying to help you. Sorry if I'm interupting anything, just thought I'd HELP with this matter as people are helping me, so I'll give some of what I'm getting. Bye :o)

hmmm, although i agree with what Incog says about jumping on the stupid lad, i really do think we are going to have a problem now.
F102434?thread=375607&post=4795296#p4795296 is where this MickyMouse lad claims to be top class in spelling (i assume he means school class as he claims to be 15).
but his user space is tesament to the opposite and appears to have been designed to look like an uneducated child, though the wording does have a reminiscent adult tint to it it is cleverly done and has a purpose, which is what worries me the most and then angers me

I had a sort of run in with this person last night, they were asking for help on Ask, but thankfully, Freddy told me about him.
I took a look at the "unnoficial site assistant"page too
How can he be saying that he's a support group, if he can't even figure out the basics of Guideml himself?!
How do you know though, that its the same person with lots of accounts? Could it be a few people with the same idea?
