Hi Peta, ever since the Five Live boards became DNA boards the hosts have become less and less a presence on them until now they've just about disappeared completely. This is causing big problems.

The mods are having difficulty coping, they've had to close the boards early on two separate days recently to try to catch up. But where are the hosts to explain what is happening? Nowhere to be seen.

Increasing numbers of posts are being referred to the hosts by the mods. This is just the thing that an active presence on the board by the hosts would have dealt with in the past. But they are not there any more.

In the terms and conditions of the boards it says that: "A host's job is to encourage interesting discussions and to help resolve disagreements. They post regularly on the messageboards, start discussions or reply to questions."

So where have they gone? Why don't they respond any more? Why are they ignoring people's questions? What's happening?
