Hi an ACE will probably be along shortly to offer other guidance to get the most out of h2g2 but having read your Crewe entry I thought Id leave you a message now to say "get a name" You can change the researcher number to a nickname via the Preferences button - note that this does not have to be the same as your BBCi Single Sign On name which will remain unchanged. A nickname can be much easier for others to relate to and remember.
Any questions just ask - I wouldn't say 'mostly harmless', but mostly friendly
