Well count ourselves lucky we're never invited to the Flintstone's house for dinner.

BBQ ribs?
Not very easy to eat, especially when you're in company.

HBetter mop up that drool first though. Can't have you dousing the BBQ and putting it out.

The ribs would be so messy to eat... especially if they were taller than your car and so heavy they make your car tip over. And the car must have been heavy!!! It had two giant stone wheels!!
What was the free BBQ for?

Some of mine were similar to that but without the middle "m".

Have to ask, Mr X. Do being nice and being a Mormon automatically go? Not that I'm suggesting Mormons are all horrible. Merely that there are nice people among all religious groups and faiths. And some not so nice ones in each as well.

Obviously true. However, I don't remember encountering any Mormon "leaders" (or even many civilians) who couldn't be classified as nice. At least not by my standards.

Fair enough. I'll believe you that you've always found them nice. I'll not argue. Have to say, I've always found my own church leaders to be lovely, and they aren't Mormon.

Well it's their job to be nice right? Within my religion I haven't met people who were actually mean... I find when you meet people in a religious context everyone has to put on a good face or act the part or whatever... That said one of the main reasons I dropped out of the religious scene here was the cliques of the people my age. They weren't mean but they weren't welcoming either. Besides, everyone just seemed so fake... but that might just be the cynical and jaded me coming out.
Why on earth were you meeting religious leaders X? You aren't the type...
My work time has finally been cut down so I only work two mornings a week before school. That gives me lots of time to catch up on the reading I fell behind in. I'm almost all caught up now so I can breathe easy and come visit you all on here again

Because they were giving me food! I don't feel guilty taking advantage of their generosity, no sir. Besides, technically I'm still registered as a member of the religion.

Technically? Sorry, but I'm not a fan of "tecnical" when it comes to religion. Seen to much of horrible stuff with people who are whatever faith on a name or paper basis only. It's not what's written down or your background that makes you, but what's inside you.
Sorry. Rant over. Not that I'm trying to suggest anything, X. Just get carried away at times.
