h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi Frenchbean - this is a big ask I've got here and I am not sure if it is in good taste or bad taste, so please know that I'm nervous about asking.

You probably don't know, but I am putting together a collection of writing and art from h2g2 - not just Edited Entries but ones from the Underguide, ones from the Post. I realised two things last night, the first is that we've nothing from or about Australia and New Zeeland and the other is I've no Journal entries.

Here's the request. Would it be possible for me to use some of the updates you have in this thread? They are powerful because they are so real.

I feel hugely inappropriate asking it, so if you feel in any way uncomfortable say "no, that doesn't sit right" and I'll go away. It's hard to tell the difference between witnessing someone's testimony and voyeurism, and I hope that this request sits the right side of that line.

I'm using most of your posts about Christchurch and your piece about Tonga. Chosing between your entries was hard.....

But thank you again. Your journal is powerful writing in its own right, and I wanted a journal in there to show off the feature.

Where will it all be? I'm a bit out of the loop about what's what on h2g2 at the moment, for obvious reasons I'd like to see the fruit of your labours

The plan is a closed edition of 42 that we use in the bid and with the new owners if we don't win. Then an open edition anyone can buy for a limited time only. Then.... If we can find a publisher.... A 'real' edition which will be in the shops and on Amazon.

Presumably it will all be communicated via the Front Page or ?
