hello from the US

I was wondering when some of the "IT" people would finally get the right idea. In the US there is such a glut of them that the salaries are lowering into the non-family job level.
I am beginning to start a new career also although not baking. I spent nearly thirty years working in aerospace was made redundent from several aerospace companies. Worked on such wonders as the "Space shuttle", and the GPS. Now I sit at home studying my history books for university. Our university classes begin in September, but I need a head start.
I had a period of time much earlier on though, that I read only
sci-fi books. It ended about twenty years ago though. I actually got to meet Ray Bradbury!
Now I most read non-fiction. My major in school is history especially the early 19th century.
Bye for now but check my personal page if you like.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
