Hi Red Kite
Your name caught my eye because I did a picture of a red kite just a couple of weeks back. The picture is blob number <./>B3967315</.> and it goes with article A1105552.

Hi Amy
Thanks for the links. The article was the first thing I read on the site before I joined in! It caught my eye as I often watch the Kites circling over my garden in High Wycombe. A beautiful sight but worrying when your dog is very small!
My nickname was chosen because of your article - so thank you.
Perhaps it is revealing an urge in me to soar as the kites do, a chance to leave the ground and explore things from a different perspective. Theres a thought!

I didn't write the article - that was Graham (U221320) - but I did draw the picture. It was fun to research. They are very beautiful birds. Some have been released into the wild just a few miles north of where I live but I've never seen them.
