So apparently, I'm your missus and I play the cello in an orchestra. You really get the short end of that stick, don't you? Though for me it's pretty cool - I've always wanted to play an instrument.

Decided that since I was having a crappy day and it was spilling over into hootoo, I best back off for the day and leave Julzes all alone.

He really is good value for money though, I like how he now doesn't believe you when you tell him what HI actually stands for.

Nah, just carrying on with the joke. At the moment my RL situation is keeping me firmly trapped in Bradford.

Seriously, this place is harder to escape from than Alcatraz.

Ah well.

I haven't been to Bradford for many a year - I think around 2002 was the last time. Has it improved since then? I used to have dealings with a company called Scorex, who are now (I think) part of Experian, the credit reference company. Are they still there?

I think it's gotten worse: it's like Liverpool in the 80s, only with more widespread ethnic tensions.

I think Experian went a couple of years ago, just after I moved here. The only big employers here now are the council, the uni and Grattan catalogue, and they nearly moved out last year.

Damn. There goes my reason to visit the city again.
