Since nobody is paying any attention to my works in Peer Review I decided to pay some attention to yours.
I think the main problem you face with the Ultimate Question article is separating facts from opinions.
Maybe you will have to resort to something like
"One researcher believes..."
or Douglas Adams, when interviewed , stated ..."
I do not agree this will never make the EG however it would need a different focus than you currently have before any scout would give it serious consideration.

Hiya Shag!

Is being ignored a Good Thing? Maybe they think your works are ready?

I'll be glad to check them out, if you like. I normally don't check out entries if I don't feel that I know the subject well enough to be helpful (unless they just have an irresistable title smiley - smiley ).

I do understand what you're saying, but nobody will tell me where they think opinion has replaced fact. If you can find anything I've written that isn't either a direct reference to the DNA description of events, or isn't directly inferrable, I'd be ever so grateful.

That's my problem, right now. People are telling me that opinion does not belong, and I agree; but I don't see what they feel is 'my opinion'!smiley - doh

Shag:

I hope your happy with my PR performance. I strive to be constructive in my reviewing which can be mistaken for pushy, and supportive which can be seen as interfering.

These are your entries and, when push comes to shove, I don't stand in the way of entries that meet the EG's standards.smiley - ok

Your entries are great, but if I can help make them even a little bit better - well, that's what PR is for, and you've certainly been helping me by keeping my feet to the fire of logic and good sense!

Thanks, Shag! For the support as well as for your appreciation!

Actually, yes I did. As I may have mentioned, I don't discose it much, because I figured that the subject is too controversial for me to impose my 'question/answer' on others. But, I believe I found the one question that I feel can be interpreted to answer them all.

I dearly wish I could have shared it with DNA. I believe he would have got a chuckle out of it!smiley - biggrin

You may have heard of a group called MENSA. I did some artwork and some writing for one of their newsletters. I proposed a 20 question quiz for a fictitional group called Mensa+. (At the time, I hadn't realised that there were already groups that were restricted to even higher levels of IQ!).

Most of it was tongue-in-cheek, the how-many-Mensa+-members does it take to screw in a lightbulb sort of questions with appropriately silly answers (A: None, we're bright enough that we don't need them.)

The last question was framed with the same general rules I set forth in my entry. I got some very interesting answers, from some obviously intelligent people; yet, none of them satisfied the requirements! I got some great laughs and thumbs up from my answer sheet's response.

Here's to our mutual success in PR! smiley - aleCheers!

smiley - cheers!
