The Solent is the stretch of water that completely separates the Mainland from the Isle of Wight, and is also England's North/South divide (although many mainlanders disagree).

It is also the most expensive waterway in the world.smiley - grr

Even more expensive than the one in Yemen where the sultan went salmon-fishing? smiley - winkeye

The Solent is obviously an important stretch of water. It touches the sacred Isle of Wight. smiley - winkeye

You don't have to wait until 2022 to get your Soylent green. You can send away for Soylent powder, add it to pureed kale, bake, and enjoy

Can soylent powder be used as a solvent in the Solent?smiley - huh

No, but you could use the sea from the Solent as a solvent for Soylent.

But if you can't afford to buy it, you are insolvent.

'Soylent Green' based on Harry Harrison's 'Make Room! Make Room!' was directed by Richard Fleischer, whose dad Max created Betty Boop and the idea of a bouncy ball on subtitles to indicate which word you sing.

Sadly they never made an animated musical version starring Betty Boop...
