Certainly hope that you're settling in well, & are getting aquainted with this vast community. I'm stiill relatively new here myself, having registered about 6 months ago...I know, that seems like a long time, believe me not really, at least not for me. I have become quite fond of the place though & the people I've met here, some genuinely good souls. From your introduction it certainly seems you're another one of those! 
Feel free to visit my space if you like. Again, hope you're settling in nicely & will eventually become as fond of the place as I have. Expect to be 'seeing you' around before too long, ok.
