Yeah, I'm really into mythology, and as you say, ancient anything. I am also a great admirer of celtic art, knots and so on.

The name has a meaning and a history as well, mainly concerning bookmonk land, the land of my friend and my inside jokes and so forth.smiley - biggrin

It's a nice name. You do know there's a religion named after you? I found a book about it the other day.

Clare is (very boringly) my real name. I do have nicknames, but they're mostly in-jokes, like you were saying, and mostly a little *too* weird for general consumption. I'd like to be called Atalanta though.

what, like a *real* religion, not my little temple one?
Where'd you find that? I'd love to know about it.

Yeah, a really real religion, I think. Now I'll have to try and find the book. It was actually really similar to your 'religion' (I went and lurked on your page to find out a bit about you), which is odd. Dunno how you could get two exclusive but almost identical religions and it be a coincidence smiley - weird

I like the sound of (your sort of) Gaiaism though, very cool.

Don't worry, I don't mind lurking. There are a lot of things lurking around in my room (the most disgusting i ever found being a pillow my cat had peed on).

Interesting coincidence though...nice to know some people think like me too! Imagine the 'real' gaiaism had turned out to be some strange cult *shudders*smiley - erm

Cat pee-y pillow - eeuw! Apple cores that have been missing presumed dead for years sometimes surface in my room, but nothing worse than that except when my Gradma's old and incontinent dog pays a visit smiley - yuk.

I think the real Gaiaism is mostly harmless, as I said, I'll have to seek out the book.
