im going to wakefield on thursday, if the weather ok.

i found that the church ones i couldnt see are stored in the archives of deeds office in wakefield.
-
so fingers crossed,i will find the missing peice.
-
on the way to the cyber, im going to go to the libray here, to get the ref numbers i need for the 1700 to 1800 for the the halifax, tomonden, lunden sowerby, and any others within the halifax range, that go back to at least 1780.s

hi sal
-
as per the call tonight,(thurseday)
-
im going to try another tack,
-
on the premise that she wasnt born in the halifax area. im going to check all the areas in yorkshire, from what i saw in the parish records, not many areas went back to the middle 1700,s
-
i,ll check each in the library, then if any are to poor to see, tomz, i will go to wakefield monday or tuesday.
-
if it was 1880, age 80, then logic is there must be a record on baptism( if any) in the parish records, outside halifax, 1786.

hi sal
-
sorry late replying, the backs still giving me a few twinges.
-
usually when it plays up, its back to normal(if you can call it that lol)but this time its taking longer to settle down.
-
could be that with me getting older, the bones are weaker, so hopefully in a day or two it will be back to the usual mild ache.
