I can see Lynda's house from here, and there are lights are on, so I assume all is well.

The House is located, in Manchester, more than that I cannot say, except this. I can see Fortress Lynda from where I sit, so, if you like I call over there, and let you know what happens

Thanks Cat, I much as I would love to know the full address I would want to hear it from Lynda when she is ready.
I am really worried for her I know she wouldn't have missed our date without good reason. I appreciate your help, she is usually up most of the night so I don't think she would mind if you dropped by for me.
Tell her if necessary to give you my email address i.e. if you can't put it here.
Thanks again. Send her this plz

In the immortal words of DNA "Dont Panic"
Lynda is safe and well, currently residing in a guest house nr. Birmingham, it appears that she broke down on her way to you, and rang home to get Liz to tell you, but Liz hasn't been able to use the computer. And Lynda's phone no longer answers, but I guess that is probably the battery.
Liz said to tell you not to worry, Lynda will be coming home on Monday, when the lorry is fixed.
Hope that helps.
Have a good weekend.

Thanks Cat I really do appreciate your help on that I was seriously worried for her and as in her recent death I had no way of contacting her.
She does like to keep ahead though she has all my details LOL.
But Thanks very much Cat I can get some sleep now I've been sitting by this monitor for three days except for when I went to meet Lynda.

How come h2g2 manages after a shot in the dark question to track missing persons down over such great distances without the enquirer being able to quote real names or addresses or anything concrete about the missing person when the Police can't track similar persons with all the information you can give them.
Perhaps this collumn should be continued with this and similar mysteries?
My thanks to Super Sleuth, greater than Scotland yard, Cat in the Hat!

I guess it helps when the missing person only lives a about 100 yards away, and is known by the searcher.
But on further reflection, maybe I should apply for a job at "The Yard"

Hi Woman At Ears am I the only person on h2g2 who doesn't know where Lynda lives? Are you a neighbour too?
I didn't know Cat b4 2day and just incase I have offended any h2g2 members who may be Police related I wasn't having a dig at the Police merely trying to elevate h2g2 via a little satire.
Is it 'SAFE' to say this collumn is doing really well? 15 messages after an hour lets see if we can find some way to keep it going.

Don't worry Cat there's a world of difference between someone who looks clever and someone who can deliver the goods as you did!
