Hi,
Thanks for your message about "System of a Down" in the "Banned Videos" thread - I didn't realise there was a *current* song that had been withdrawn - now I have a better idea why people are upset about it. I was going to post a response in the thread, but conversation has drifted on a bit while I've been otherwise engaged.
I'm still not sure whether it's censorship or not (or, more importantly, if it is, whether it's wrong or not), but I don't think that dictionary definitions are authoritative - they just reflect the use of language rather than proscribe it.

I used that specific definition because it fit what Viacom/MTV is doing quite well.
While I disagree with what they are doing, I have to admit that it is well within their rights, and very likely in their financial best intrests (considering that they would want to lose advertisers if people were to complain).
I don't want to see anyone get hurt in the current goings on, but I feel that the media (beyond simply the news organizations) is far to "inbeded" 
in the interests of the world governments.
As an American I am a firm believer in the freedom of speech. Sadly, this right is not respected everywhere and it bothers me when corporations make choices that limit the information (even the often poorly made videos) that people have access to.
Now, more importantly... where might I find Korfball in the U.S.?
