Like you, I have two daughters. I suppose they're both sort of grown-up but not off our hands yet. We also have a 'difficult' teenage boy .

Where is your daughter getting married? I hope the sun shines for you all.

Both girls are in their 30s now, the eldest isnt married yet, to busy working,lol

Sorry I didnt get back to you, the interactive went down on me yesterday,,
Hampshire..... thats a nice part of the country, not that Ive been there, but have seen pictures of the area.,, So your a scottie,, I have a friend from LD who lives in Hamilton, still trying to save enough money to go visit her,lol,,, we have been friends since I first joined LD 3 years ago.... These days we just chat via the phone,lol

Hopefully I will be back on here again this afternoon (after the wrestling.lol) if your around we can continue chat and word game

Haven't been around much over the last few days - but am off today .
Spotted a conversation on Ask H2G2 about cross-stitch and remembered you're into it too. I don't know how to do that green stuff that would let you click here and go straight to it - but if you go to my space, you'll find it somewhere on the left had side titled 'cross stitcher'.
How are the wedding plans going?

Wedding plans are going ok this weekend is going quite now that ive got all the alterations done, flowers ready,(using silk roses)in vases and wreath/rings for the tables.
Been a bit irratic as well regarding using h2g2,,lol,,
Having my hair cut on tuesday then all ive to do is press my outfit, and iron the bridesmaids dresses now they are ready,lol.. its sure been hectic for a few days,,lol the rehearsal was last week as well(that went ok)

Will be back on tommorrow ,,,Oh I found the conversation re;cross stitch,lol (and put my bit in)

sorry Ive not been in touch, been a bit hectic,lol
The wedding went great and you can read about it in my journal,lol
Since Monday ive been arranging furniture now ive got more space, all the heavy stuff is now done and its just a case of putting things away then im done,

Glad you've 'recovered' from the wedding. It's always a bit flat after all the hectic stuff's over. Hope you didn't strain anything moving furniture around!
Everything's fine at this end. Had a few days off but haven't done much exciting. The weather's really awful so I can't go out and play in my garden.
Dpoing anything interesting cross-stitch wise? Just started a new project myself - a horoscope type thingie. Don't think it'll take too long. I should really be tackling a huge pile of ironing - but canna be bothered. Story of my life really when it comes to housework .

Im doing a xstitch of a thatched cottage which will have the words HOME SWEET HOME above it and then put into a frame for the happy couple, its what she wanted instead of a new home card, something to keep for a long time

All the moving around is done and im now taking it easy,,, didnt strain anything as I kept having breaks btw working,lol

They have gone to Slovinia for the honeymoon, its near to Croatia, where my daughter has been before, she loves that part of the globe,l

The weather hasnt been to kind as it lately, the sun is shining at the mo and im hoping for a dry warm day, it helps with the Arthritis

That was my wee brother barging in there. I introduced him to this site but he doesn't seem to have been on much.
They were staying with us for a few days last month.
Been up to anything interesting lately?
I haven't - just the usual cycle of work, housework, work and avoiding housework .

Yes its me logged out by mistake and couldnt recall my password or the rest, so had to re-register
Im ok, been off a lot with a bad back, due to all the moving of furniture(my own fault I know), still its easing up now and each day gets a bit better

Like you the week has just gone by as normal, not done to much though cus of the pain,but at least I got through it

Was nice I bet to have your bro stay for a few days, (but even nicer when they eventually go and you get the home back to normality)
