First off - had to go to work on a Saturday.
Second - although the temperature at work was reasonable this morning - it had risen to 28 C by mid afternoon + high humidity therefore not very pleasant.
Third - had a long walk back to my car which was like a wee oven by the time I reached it BUT the AC soon made it comfortable.
Fourth - got home, removed some clothes, put hot weather clothes on, poured large iced 'bomba' and took Saturday papers into garden.
Fifth - next door neighbours on one side entertaining friends but music not too loud.
Sixth - Numpties, two houses away in other direction decided 'loud music good'.
Seventh - TOO MUCH NOISE. Came inside, poured another large 'bomba'. And tuned in here. Unfortunately - also so if noise gets worse - which it does tend to do with the Noisy Numpties - I can't get into car and go somewhere quieter for the evening.
Aint Summer wonderful!

It suprises me that you have'nt gone round there and told them to 'Shut the fud up' by now Teuchter..............if you need the assistance of a few hairy a&*ed truckers to sort them for you don't hesitate to ask.

I did wonder if a few 'See you Jimmies' would fix them!
Previous polite remonstrations got us nowhere in the past - they just told us to Naff Off back to Scottieland!

It's pretty quiet where we are now, but during BBQ season the music level does pick up a little
Do they sell BBQ's these days with a built in Elvis tape, 'cos every time the smoke starts wafting across so does 'Hound dog'..............ooooo i hate elvis.

Our nice quiet neighbours had Clapton unplugged at a reasonable level - so that was ok.
The Noisy Numpties tend to be more raucous - and have the bass set to 'Exterminate'.
No Elvis so far - but it probably is a mandatory extra - perhaps it comes with the burgers rather than the BBQ?
I believe it features heavily on a music collection entitled 'Music to Piss-off Your Neighbours By'.

Round my way its "garage" music, wouldnt mind but none of them have a garage to play it in so the windows come open and the sterio gets tyrned up FULL blast, so then you have to close yours just to hear yourself think
I still dont know what the significance is with summer/open windows wide/loud music?
Why? oh why?

It kinda spoils things for us folk with sensitive lugs!
I heard of a new invention which you plug in and point towards the source of the noise - and it somehow 'neutralises' it so you can't hear it. Don't really understand how it works - too much complicated physics for me. But if they become available at an affordable price, I'll be first in the queue.
In the meantime, I'll just contemplate Airie's kind offer to send a few of his mates round for a 'deep-and-meaningful' with them.
