Hi, Kea. Just dropped by to tell you that thread (you'll know which one I mean) cracked me up this morning. Especially the inspired nickname you came up with.
I remember when she lit into you for asking why more USAnians don't engage in buy local schemes, etc. Rather than engaging in discussion about how the farm industry is subsidized here, she called you anti-American. I made the mistake of taking the time to visit her space and explain about buying local and other sustainable farming methods here. I buy local, organic and sustainable to the extent I can, so while I'm not an expert, I thought my input might be helpful.
She slagged me off, not just in reply to my posting, but went to visit friends' spaces and slagged me off there as well, as anti-American. And I'm from Chicago.
But I digress. for keeping your cool and for the brilliant f**k**f. See ya around the place. I'll be watching that thread for more entertainment.

Hi pc
Thanks for that. I've been waiting for someone to come along and tell me off for wrecking that thread, but glad you've found it entertaining instead.
Not sure how long we'll get away with calling her f**k**f though
I remember that comment about buying local, but I can't remember what the original thing was that set her off. I hadn't realised you'd followed up the buy local thing, good for you. I think I'd given it as an example of something I think the US are doing really well, cutting edge in fact, and she of course was insulted by my comments
She does seem to miss where people are actually from quite alot, including the person who started that thread who is also American

No, I don't think *you* wrecked the thread. I rolled my own eyes and felt a sense of deja vu when I saw her name, though. I suppose that's what's so amusing- that someone can find something so insulting and offensive that they clearly haven't read through, and then have a complete meltdown. It's entertaining as hell- you couldn't make this stuff up.
I have to say, though, that I admire your restraint. For my part, engaging people like her too much leads to blown brain gaskets.

Just thought I'd drop in and say that the name f**k**f is a stroke of genius. Obviously I'm not the only one impressed...

I'm still giggling about it. It's both brilliant *and* accurate.

Just checked, and it hasn't been modded either.

Asweome! Some things are too good to be modded. If I thought it had a chance, I'd nominate it for QoTD!

yeah I wondered about the QOTD too. Maybe we should have an unofficial QOTD page for all the quotes TPTB can't put on the FP

Today it's Ivan's turn, and he got in a double whammy. Or killed two birds with one stone, perhaps.
