Maybe not personally... although his bots will tell you that there are 54 errors on your PS...

Don't take it personally, the GuideML clinic sees your 54 and raises you to 76

Hey, maybe this could be a new game... try to fail w3c validation on 42 counts
You're already in contention cos, as I'm suree you know, 42 = 54

Are you trying to do my head in
Anyway, pah, what do the bots know As long as the page looks ok
Actually Tit gave me some help so I should go see if it works...

Indeed
Lurking abut said space, me wonders... art thou headed for Guru-dom?
(the threads with/about U1848948 Chaiyah)
I can read (and, I presume, add to) threads on her PS - but NOT start one - get the 'Greetings unknown hiker' bollix instead...

Well the thread in Feedback was originally titled: "pulling my hair out now", so perhaps not
I was thinking today that I should just chill a bit, and then see if h2g2 improves, community wise, later in the year once all the Brits are back. I'm just finding the ongoing downgrading of the site depressing. I commented elsewhere that maybe Jimster has won, and I'm being bored into more involvement in the EG

Speaking of hair pulling, I've been listening to Jim Mora for the last few hours. Complete is the phrase that comes to mind. I'm sure he's a nice enough bloke, but he says some bloody odd things on his show

It's been real
I agree about Jim Mora - such a tragic waste of airtime
I had hopes for 'the panel', but gave up ages ago... inane drivel mostly...
I catch snippets in the car every so often as the radio is usually tuned accordingly and, luckily, there are alternatives - incl a local NZ On Air funded outfit that plays a bizarre mix of music I'd otherwise never hear - although, being staffed predominantly by volunteers, some of the links are dire to the point where Mr M sounds postively gifted

I"m looking forward to being back on broadband so I can catch Karyn Hay's kiwi music radio station.

Strewth, I don't know why I bother sometimes... that woman is a sublime xxxx troll. I've been trying to think what the xxxx word is (apart from the obvious ). It's a word that would describe trolling without actually breaking the house rules.

Have you been following Bob Moody's latest this week?
Good Grief! Redecorated?!?
six7s Posted Jul 30, 2006
Don't ask me for ONE word...
If I thought for than 10 seconds, I'd come up with dozens! So, instead, I try to ignore the messenger and focus solely on the message
Which, curiously, not the way I see Bob Moodie - I think that both he and his message are superb!
On top of that, I think that mainstream media - well, at least NatRad and the local rag - are covering the issue really well
When do you journey back to the land of (so-called) broadband?
And where is Karyn Hay these days?

Auckland I think: www.kiwifm.co.nz/ (I can't get it to load here). Sam Hunt guests on Fridays I think
I've also been trying to catch Marcus Lush 7pm weeknights on Radio Live, but I have to be in the right mood to handle the ads
I should be back in bb land in the next week or so

Have you been following this?:
http://godben.googlepages.com/myexplainationofevents
And can you explain what he means by this (i.e. what did he do)?:
>>
So I protested in the best way I could think of, I blocked out the thread using the thread blocker of mine to disrupt the moderation proceedure and hopefully get them to reason things.

Q1. Nope
Q2. Ditto... maybe it's a typo... 'the' instead of 'my' thread blocker??? I'm guessing that blocking a thread requires running a script on the dna database... hacking that seems unlikely, and if anyone hacks in that far, I can't see the Italics taking it lying down
I have no idea who Godben is/was... they sound young????

That's how I read it - that he was saying he had hacked the site But I wasn't sure how likely such a thing was
I remember godben from around the place. Strange that a researcher has been indefinitely suspended for something so serious and not much talk about it in the community (someone's set up a petition, there's a link in my convo list).

I see that, despite your instructions to the contrary, your name is in the drop-down list on U623736 - i.e. as one of the nine 'members' who are 'WORTHY PEOPLE WHO HAVE JOINED THE QUEST'

I know I'm hoping they'll be back on to fix that soon.
Seems a bloody odd way to organise a campaign anyway
