Hi
I am the Product Manager for DNA and for my sins Howerd2 while it lasts. This means that I oversee development on both systems as well as help out with the central co-ordination of all the BBC's community sites.
I'm passionate about helping the BBC create new, inspiring and interesting online communities and I'm here to make sure we create the underlying software to help us build these. Mostly what I'm involved in is software development, but I still believe that the most important part of a community, 99% of it, is the people. No matter how pretty we make these sites or how much functionality we cram in, what makes these places what they are is all of you out there. I spend a lot of my time trying to convince the folks here that.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
