This is more of a northern thing..than just Brummie..-..My real name is Sandra..I much prefer the northern pronounciation..to the Southern..the Northerners..say San-dra..the southerners..(I'm including myself here)..say sarn-dra..I was recently told..by a Brummie..that I add 'r's to words..where as he says "ba-th"..I say "bar-th"..but..like I said..it's more a northern thing..than a Brummie..so I don't know if it's any use too you..I'll be back in a few mins..with a suggsetion of a good place to ask your question....

If you click the above link..that'll take you to 'Ask the h2g2 Community'..a very busy part of h2g2..you can ask your Brummie Accent question there..you should get a good response..though there's a lot of humour in the community..so don't be surprised if it goes a bit off subject..most of the threads there do....

May I suggest..you give yourself a nickname first....it's so much easier to talk to a name..rather than a number....
