Yah, she is a Jungian, so we interprete dreams often. Don't want to say too much on here, cause I don't think she likes me blabbing about sessions. smiley - laugh

I'm not sure that little kid in the dream represented me! She was pretty vicious! I think it represents a situation I assume is harmless that isn't.

Oh boy have I got dreams for you!smiley - rofl

tee-hee-hee!

So, it was an amazingly long dream but I don't remember the beginning so I'll just get to the entertaining part...

It's a Star Wars dream.smiley - planet I'm on the rebel ship with Luke Skywalker and we get into a tiny ship to board the galactic empire ship.smiley - rocket For some unknown reason they sent out every single stormtrooper to attack our ship so theirs is completely empty. We get to the ship which, like any good spaceship has the interior of a victorian house. So we're around a corner near a rather nice bench and I say "how much time do we have?" (We were rescuing a kid.) Skywalker replies, "it will take them at least 40 minutes to destroy our ship. We can get the kid and get back to the ship in 5 minutes and get away safely."smiley - ok
Well, it turns out it only took 2 minutes to destroy our ship so they all came a-marchin' in!smiley - yikes
I, naturally, hid around the cornersmiley - lurk while Luke Skywalker went and killed Storm Troopers with his lightsabre. Of course, he couldn't get all of them but no matter! There was a metal pole beside me that I could beat them with. So the first two came smiley - laughing around the corner and I gathered all my might and swung my trusty metal pole at his head... but there was a problem. It bent. Turned out it was a paper pole.smiley - erm I looked at him, then at the pole, then back at him.
"Uh... I kinda thought this was a metal pole. Would you mind if I went and found an actual metal pole and came right back?"
To which he replied, "Hahaha! Sure."
So I ran.smiley - run But I was suddenly running outside and they started shooting me. I was shocked! Afterall, he said it was alright to go find something and come back. Anywho...
I ran down a grass hill into a plaza where another stormtrooper started shooting at me.smiley - skull Having no metal or paper pole I was quite helpless. So I started screaming for Luke Skywalker to hurry up with those hundreds of stormtroopers that I abandoned him to and come help me for crying out loud!smiley - cross
He came down and cut off the guys leg but then a truce was called and we were all going on a field trip together.smiley - erm My plan was to help the now one-legged trooper walk and kill him when no one was looking.smiley - evilgrin But as I was hatching my clever plan he started singing and he sounded like Brian Ferry. Naturally, I could not kill him. smiley - headhurts

And then there was something about a large hole in the ground and a dog.smiley - huh

smiley - laughPlease don't call the men in white coats!

Part of it seems to be about developing empathy for your enemies, because you were going to kill that stormtrooper, but then you found out he had human talents, like being able to sing.

The rest just sounds like an exciting adventure!

Dunno about hitting the stormtrooper, maybe you feel underarmed and undermanned fighting battles lately.

Do you agree, or is my interpretation piffle?

smiley - laughI think it's probably mostly nonsense. Dreams are a nice escape from reality and although I don't remember alot of the stuff before that I know it was much more serious.

And if it was someone other than Brian Ferry that he sang like I probably would have killed him anyways...smiley - laugh

Ah, but think about the significance of the name "Brian Ferry". You have in fact spelt "Bryan" wrong, so it's now an anagram of "brain" & of course a ferry is a means of crossing the water & possible escape.

Conclusion: You have water on the brain.
