Cargo cults

Hello MotDoc
I've done a bit of digging into cargo cults in the library and on the internet.
It seems that our best bet is to do an entry based primarily on the John Frum cult, accompanied by a general section on cargo cults as a whole. There is heaps of info on JF, but not so much on cargo cults generally. Let me know what you think and I'll begin to put something together in WW in the next few days...
That way, you can check out what I've got and add the stuff that you have - as you seem to know an awful lot more about CCs than me. For the moment anyway

Did you know there's a science of cargo cults? It is extraordinarily philosophical stuff and has me bamboozled and confused I don't want to write about that at all

Scrub this thread MotDoc - I hit buttons all over the place when my steam-driven computer wouldn't work just then and you've ended up with 2 threads more or less the same....

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
