Liberty, Humanism
<GUIDE>
<BODY>
I am a Libertarian, and a "Rational Humanist". This means I fight and lobby and write and cajole people into returning America back into a Republic, because the US has become an Infantile Theocracy.
Also, I happen not to believe there is a "god". I think that 'god' is myth, superstition, and, in the case of christianity especially, <FOOTNOTE> it is meant only to separate people from laughter and enjoyment.
So now the US, ignoring the Bill of Rights (those ten Amendments to our Constitution are worth the five minutes needed to read -- check out nine and ten!) reaches into our bodies, tells us what plants to avoid <FOOTNOTEif and when we can reproduce or chose not to do so; and into our homes, with sharp eyes making sure we don't injest any chemical that we may enjoy.
I really feel America has fascist features. It's frightening. Although 13 of 50 states have voted for (at minimum "medical") marijuana legality, Bush's Attorney General<FOOTNOTE threatened ANY doctor who recommends pot to a sick person -- he would cancel his/her license to prescribe all medicines!
Well, that's me, J.P. . . . in Las Vegas. . .
</FOOTNOTE> In our English speaking countries
</FOOTNOTE> Sound familiar? Eve and the Apple?
</FOOTNOTE> as right-wing radical christian equal to Cotton or Increase Mather
