May I also suggest visiting the <./>GuideML-Clinic</.>. GuideML is the computer language that h2g2 uses, and this page will help you to fill your user space with all sorts of neat stuff

thanks for the greeting. It is a rather complicated place, but so far I haven't had too much trouble. That's more than likely because I haven't done anything yet but post an intro. hello again Ace. I wonder if you might answer a question for me? If I see a post I find inappropriate, should I send just a link to the thread or should I report each post that I was offended by? Or perhaps to save me the time you can tell me, is making statements like "Americans are pig headed morons" something that is tolerated on these public boards? I don't mean to stir up trouble, but I find it very uncomfortable to be labeled as all sorts of unpleasant things just because I was born in the US.

never mind, I have already complained and been told such things are perfectly acceptable. I have to say I am dissappointed, but I am that quite often so it's no biggie. sorry to have bothered you

If you feel a post breaks the house rules then there is a complain button next to each post. Clicking on this will register your complaint and I think ask for an explanation and then moderators will then look at your complaint and decide on it. I don't know what happened in this specific instanceas I've been away for a few days but that is the procedure to go through when someone posts something breaking the house rules
