My corner of the universe is on the other side of it... Finland.
The fall´s coming in here where as I guess you guys have it pretty warm. (just talking about the weather)
Anyway. How does this whole ordeal work? I´m honestly a bit overwhelmed. Don´t know where to start. H2G2 seems like just the thing I´ve been looking for. It´ll just take some time to get to know my way around, I guess.
It´d be great to eventually make some friends in here and share thoughts. Don´t have too much of that in the "live world" these days.

You're right about the weather- its still hot and humid here. Finland is beautiful too- I visited many times while I was still living in Europe.
H2G2 is very user-friendly. Just put your thoughts on your Personal Space and wait for visitors! A lot of the Articles are very interesting and well written and you can connect to the Researcher's Personal Space and start up Conversations.
There are also some special interest clubs- music, religion etc. No doubt an ACE will visit you and supply a whole load of useful information.
Try to learn GuideML- it makes a great difference. It looks a bit formidable at first but even I got my mind round it in a couple of weeks.
Otherwise, just jump in and enjoy!!!
