h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm a brand-spanking new ACE, that's Assistant Community Editor, and it's my job to welcome new researchers who join this wonderful site, and help them get oriented to this sometimes confusing place.

One of the places I like to hang about is "Ask the h2g2 Community" at A148907, you can ask (and possibly answer) any possible question you can think of and get thousands of smart, witty and downright good-looking of us h2g2 researchers replying.

If you get stuck you can go to the Don't Panic help centre (http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/dontpanic ), or just post a reply right here and ask me whatever question you want to about the site and I'll probably be able to help.

I hope you get stuck in soon, it's well worth the small effort.

How are you finding h2g2? Done much exploring yet? I see you're working on your home page a lot, and in GuideML too! I have to say that I like it a lot. Is that a true story? Born with a fez, sounds painful...
