Disturbances are the worst. My mum has a knack of nagging me to do something when I'm right in the middle of something, beginning to understand the story and the characters. "No, not at the ad break. NOW." Also when you're in a movie and someone comes in half way through and starts asking questions. "Why is he doing that?" "Who's she?" "Oh, I think I've seen this bit. He dies". Makes me just want to yell "OH, SHUT UP!".
Lucky you having your own cinema. I'm fed up of people throwing popcorn at me. Usually I just turn around and empty my drink over them.

It's fairly easy and chaep with the aid of ebay! Now to make it perfect I need a projector instead of the telly! The only thing it lacks is the communal atmosphere of a big audience, but that does have it's benefits, I can scream like a girl if the film scares me enough without any embarrasment!

I don't smoke, not a problem for me. I like the video, you can see it twice for no extra cost which allows you to spot the easter eggs.

Nice to have your own cinema.
I have a rather small TV for todays standards.
I really do not see any pluses to going to theaters.
I like to take a break sometimes and I want to pause it where I want to.
I hate it when the sound is too loud.
When there are great laughs that get drowned out my a room of laughter.
I want my most comfy chair and no phone calls.
My own munches or meal.
I want to rewind if I did not get something.
I like my own climate contolled room,
and it does include smoke
I like changing positions, lying down some during a movie.
I like headphones sometimes too.

Analiese smokes maybe we are a smokers group and do not know it!
When I have quit smoking I still seemed to migrate towards the smokers they seem to be my kind of personality for some odd reason I have never figured out. Maybe we are more cantankerous(sp?)
and statistically more cancerous
I am a villianous smoker and there are reasons why I should not be! My number one vice the hubby and I agreeHe does not smoke
I smoke an occassional swisher sweet too.(tiny -skinny sweet cigar about once a year)
I am a total B**** when I do not smoke. It is the best antidepressant on the market *for Me* DISCLAIMER not recommending it for others

The whole way I started to smoke was inhaling on a cigar. Quit now though, and feel better for it. I have to say though, I like my movies loud and big, and generally in english. But I agree' choosing your own comforts (mines a scotch) witha movie only enhances the experience.

Stopped smoking 10 years ago........and 9 years ago...........
and 8 years ago..........and 7 years ago.......(spot the theme here!)
I quit for good two years ago and never noticed much of a difference except for the return of my sense of smell.

Hi Folks, Ive started something here when I mentioned smoking while watching a good movie! Any way I roll my own using liquirice papers, a habit I picked in the R.N. As they were literly throwing fags (cigarettes for our US friends)at us in those days!
I get really annoyed at all these "no smoking" laws that are coming out these days If thats the case why did they give us them so cheap while serving? Is it because they thought we would all be killed in action first? They try to make us smokers look like criminals
Im sure I have paid enough Tax on tobacco over the years to open a hospital wing!!! So get off my back!! and get a life, is what I tell them

Well, to be fair, I don't like inhaling others' cigarette smoke. I won't stop you if you want to smoke, but its cigars only for me, and then no inhaling.
One of my best mates rolls his own, largely for money reasons. No filters either. I smoked cigarettes for a week, but stopped, couldn't handle the commitment.
